Our Environmental Education Center "Thesaret e Natyrës" is a new project within BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina, with a mission to educate and raise awareness for animal welfare and environmental protection. Thesaret e Natyrës incorporates four components: - Non-formal education through "Treasure Hunt" concept and other activities inside and outside the center, for children and pupils,
- Healthy and organic menu in the family restaurant, with unique dishes combination of vegetarian and local cuisine,
- Souvenir shop where we promote and sell local products from different local family businesses, projects and individuals,
- Conference rooms, modern and fully equipped for different events: conferences, seminars, workshops. Thesaret e Natyrës has opened with the aim to give a wider and unique experience for visitors who come to see our work with the bears rescued from captivity, so they can learn more about animal welfare and environment protection, eat a delicious and healthy meal surrounded by an amazing landscape and before leaving they can get a souvenir as a memory for the visit at our sanctuary, purchase which has direct impact on the economic welfare who produce these souvenirs.
