Hope was brutally snatched away from her mother when she was very young and started life in a tiny cage of just 3 square meters. Luckily, she didn’t suffer the same fate as the other bears that lived for many years in complete isolation. 

In May 2013, when she was no more than one and a half years old, she was rescued by FOUR PAWS. Since then, she has been treated with the utmost care and love. We provide her all the things she needs in order to live as a bear should. She has grown immensely in size and confidence and has a lovely personality. She enjoys playing with anything she finds, and not just the enrichment items that we provide her. She likes to leap into her pool and causing a big splash.
